Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Protovision Signal (the “Service”) operated by Protovision (“Protovision,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Protovision Signal provides a daily narrative signal board and related story views based on media attention signals. Features and data windows may differ by plan (anonymous browse, free account, or Pro). The Service is provided for informational purposes and may change as we iterate.

Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and accurate account information.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or violate these Terms.

Plans and billing

Free and paid plans are described in the product. Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize charges according to the plan you select. You can manage or cancel through the billing portal where available, or by contacting hello@protovision.ai. Taxes may apply. Pricing and plan benefits may change; we will communicate material changes as appropriate.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape at abusive rates, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful activity or to infringe others’ rights.
• Do not circumvent plan limits, authentication, or access controls.

Content and rankings

Story rankings, summaries, coverage metrics, and related signals are derived from public media sources and automated systems. They may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. They are not professional advice (including legal, financial, or journalistic advice) and should not be the sole basis for decisions.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by Protovision or its licensors. Third-party article content remains owned by the respective publishers; links and excerpts are provided for reference.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROTOVISION WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Protovision harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
